Charles Frederick Hindle (brother of Elizabeth Ann) inventor of
electro-cardiograph.
John Oswald Hindle (brother of Eliz. Ann) also developed the
electro-cardiograph machine probably with his brother Chas. F. Both born in
Accrington. Oswald in 1872 and Chas. in 1876.
Elizabeth Ann Hindle was my great grandmother - who died giving birth to my grandfather in 1900 in Hartford, CT, USA. I am trying to track a "Hindle Castle" which my grandfather referred to in the Lancashire area. I will be in the U.K. in 2 weeks on business and would like to look up Hindle information in Lancashire. Also, have Capewell ancestory in Birmingham.
