I too am looking for more information on Mathew Hindman and Elizabeth Pointer, as they are my GGGgrandparents.Would like to know who their parents were and all that stuff.

They moved to Beford, Taylor County, Iowa and helpedsettle that area, they and another family (Guyll) settled there first families there in the early 1840's.
The first of 8 children I have is Rebecca born in 1821 in KY.Mathew and Betsy were married in 1810 so there are possibly more children that were born between 1810 and 1821 that were grown up and didn't make the move with them, don't know yet, just a theory.
Would love to have more info on the Pointer's and or Hindman's.I would love to share more of my info if you would like to share yours.
