Ihave been tracing S,C, Hindmans dor years.
Ihave a family history of a William Hindmanb.1790 had 2 sons named James amoung 14. The youngest went to Ga. m,2nd a lucy Barton, His son by 1st wife lomie named Alamanda Jonn Richard Hindman m. Melissa Barton and had children, Benjamin Franklin,Charles Robert, James Perry,Lula Mattie
Another family history written by someone in Rusk Co. Tx starts with Alexander James but census record say Andrew James
It is at the point where the 2 family histories connect that thereis some confusion
