We are researching the "Hinesly" family and the reason for this message is that we have discovered that my great grandfather spelled his name "Hinesley" and we have never been able to find out anything about his heritageexcept that he was born January 1828 in White Co, Tenn. However, his mother, Sarah, was born in Ga. We suspect that his father was also from Ga. but haven't been able to prove it. If you know anything about "James Madison Hinesley" we would be delighted to hear from you!
