We were delighted with your response! We have to believe that these similarities are more than coincidence. Your James M. Hinesly could be the father of my great grandfather, James Madison Hinesly, who was born in 1827 and married to Samila Hamilton. Also, it could be more than coincidence that their second child was named Thomas Jefferson(possibly a namesake of your Thomas Hinesley). We also know that James Madison's mother was named Sarah andborn in Ga.
