Hinesley-Elkin connection

I found a genealogy site on the internet with many family genealogies. This one had our Hinesley family.My ancestor was Alford Hinesley and Nancy Phillips married in 1821, but this gentleman says that Alford was married to a Letia Elkin in 1819. He says they had a daughter and Then Letia Elkin died and he later married Nancy Phillips.Does any one know anything about this Elkin Lady?
