Hinesley in Walton Co. FL - DeFuniak Springs

Hello All,

I am looking for information on a Mr. Hinesley who owned or operated a hotel in DeFuniak Springs, Walton Co., Florida before the turn of the century (late 1900s, I think). Have a wonderful story that he traveled to South Florida to bring two women back home - they had been taken (kidnapped) as Seminoles to be 'removed' - this Mr Henesley paid their purchase price so he could bring them back home to Walton Co.Tish worked in his hotel until shd died ca 1927.So hope I can find a record of this man and his courageous deed.Judy
