hinrichs from emden/greenock

Hello from John Hinrichs of Toronto. I am the son of Andrew Hunter Hinrichs in turn the son of Andrew Christian in turn son of Christian Andrew Hinrichs. C.A .left Emden in the 1890's and settled in Greenock, Scotland. He was a ship captain and maritime hero plying the Scotland/Bombay shipping lanes. A.C. also spent much of his life in India with his wife Ethel Hay Hunter. I know little else and would appreciate hearing back from any Emden originates.
