OBITUARY OLLICE DWIGHT HINSON

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row by row, That mark our places: and in the sky the larks still bravely singing, fly scarcely heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Alive a short days ago. we lived, felt dawn, saw sunsets, rainbows glow, Loved , and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields where poppies grow.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The touch: be yours to hold it high. If we break faith with us who die,We shall never sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields where the poppies still grow. Rest my Dear Brother Ollice Dwight Hinson your Loved, Missed and Also remember
Lieutenant Colonel John McCrea,Md (1972-1918)Canadian Army
