Thank you.Jacob's son Rev Jacob Hisey married 1840 Clark Co Ohio Harriet Winchester. They were parents of Mary Elizabeth.John Gard was named her guardian after Jacob died in 1847.Harriet remarried a Willcox and had a son George in Illinois.Evidently Mr Willcox died and Harriet is living with her brother Wm Hale Winchester in Stephenson Co Il and Mary is living with them. (1860 census)Release of guardianship shows mary Elizabeth getting $802.40 from her father's estate.

Harriet winchester Hisey Willcox died in 1860 and is buried in the Hulse Cem Pecatonica Winnebago Co IL.

A couple of other related:Wm Hale Winchester married Sybil Gates from Clark Co and moved to Union Co where daughter Pauline married Wm Z Tunks.Sybil's sister Rebecca married Wm McIntire.They died in Union Co leaving Prudence, Nancy, and Armadilla as orphans.Nancy married Eben Hulse and is buried at Hulse Cem.Prudence married Josiah Bartlett Emery, brother of Seth Emery who married Mary Elizabeth Hisey. Prudence died in Analy (Sebastopol) California in 1869.


Wm Tunks, neighbor of Wm Hale Winchester married Paulina Winchester (daughter of Sybil and Hale)in 1843 in Union Co...the same year they moved to Illinois.Pauline is buried at Hulse.Wn Tunks second wife was Armdadilla McIntire...and his third wife was Candace Sarah (Emery)Daniels sister of Seth Stevens Emery who married Mary Elizabeth Hisey.

The Emery children's youngest sister Viance married Charles Wesley Burrill, another neighbor.His brother, Jonathan, married Harriet Winchester, daughter of Wm Hale Winchester and Sybil Gates.


I looked up all the Hisey's whiel researching Mary Elizabeth.Her death cert in Missouri says Mother unknownfather Jos Hisey.Needless to say that through me off until I got mary's obits.Mary has living descendants.
