Joseph and Jacob Hisey, b. 1757 & 1765, PA

Does anyone know if Joseph and Jacob are brothers?

Joseph, b. circa 1765-1774,married in 1798 in Augusta Co., VA, Elizabeth Gabbert, worshipped at St. John's Reformed and Lutheran Church and circa 1810 moved to Greenbrier, then VA, County, and died there in 1828.

Jacob, b. 1757, PA, was in Shenandoah Co., 1794-98, owned land there with wife Barbara, then by about 1800 was in Rockingham Co., where his son Johann George, who was baptized in 1784 at Salem Lutheran Church, Lebanon, PA, also lived, as did Jacob's daughters, Catherine who married a Lambert in 1810, and Samuel, who was born in Shenandoah Co, 1795, baptized at Zion Pine Reformed Church, married in Rockingham Co., in 1820 and moved to Illinois.

Jacob, Johann George and wife Esther Lambert Hisey, Susan, her daughter who married a Karicofe, Catherine and her Lambert husband, all lived in the Ashby Magesterial District, Rockingham Co.

I thought Joseph was Jacob's son, but cannot find anything to prove this.So now wondering if they could have been brothers.
