I am researching information on John Hitchen who was born somewhere around 1810-1820 and emmigrated to Australia in the early 1830's.Don't know any other information on the origins.He had a son named George Hitchen who married a Catherine Guare in the 1860's, and they had a daughter named Martha Amelia Hitchen who is my great-grandmother.Martha died in 1947 in New South Wales. That is the end of the Hitchen line that I know of.Any info you have would be appreciated to see if there is any connection.
