I have done a good bit of research in Breckinridge Co. Ky.

Micajah Dowell left a will in Breckinridge Co. Ky written April 4, 1844 Probated Sept. 21, 1846
Here he names the following. wife Mary Dowell.
Daughters - Frances Arms, Polly Jarrett(wife of Joel Jarrett, Sally Sinclair (wife of George Sinclair), Letita Sinclair(Wife of William Sinclair).
Grandau. Fanny Dowell Dau. of Clayburne Dowell, deceased .
Sons - Thomas C. Dowell, Oty T. Dowell, Henry J. Dowell, Christopher Dowell.

George Sinclair (Spelled Sinklear on his will) left a will in Breckinridge Co. Ky. written April 1, 1848 - Probated Aug. term 1848.
Names the follwing in his will.wife Sally Sinklear.
daughters - Leticha Sinklear, Sally Ann Sinklear, Virginia Frances Sinklear. Mary Bruington, Nancy Grant,
Sons - George Washington Sinklear, Micajah D. Sinklear, Jacob Sinklear.

I am from along line of Va. & W.Va. Hicks
William Hicks & Hannah Jarrett pioneer settlers from Greenbrier & kanawha counties of present day W.Va. are my 4th great grandparents. Hannah was the daughter of David Jarrett & his 1st wife Jane. Her father David married her husband William Hicks sister Susannah Hicks as his 2nd wife..

I believe that Jesse Hicks/Hix of Bedford Co Va. & Breckinridge Co. Ky is perhaps a 1st cousin to my William Hicks of Greenbrier & kanawha counties.

Then toss in the Jarrett's and it's nothing short of amazing. The Jarrett family is a large one.
