Delbert Hixson

I am trying to get info on Delbert Hixson b 6 Oct 1914, d 9 June 1993.Supposedly he was from Waxahatchie, TX. I have been able to find him in Montana, 1933 or so where he filed for his SSN.He was in Copper Mining and from there he moved on to The UP of Michigan where he married and had a son in 1954.That son, William Delbert Hixson is my husband.He says that his father talked about Texas all the time but I cannot find a thing.No Parents, nothing.If anyone has any leads I would appreciate it. I am pretty new to this and am still reading tip pages.Thank you.
