Kenneth, I believe we have corresponded before regarding Monroe Hixson.I recently learned that your wife Alma has written a book about John Hixson being Monroe's father.First, how can I purchase a copy of that book?And second, with some recent chasing of family trees on Ancestery.com, I believe I have figured out who John's parents were.Joseph Hixson 1767-1835 married to Mary Johnson 1767-1850, and had a son named John without a birthdate given.They were married in 02 Dec 1790 in Greene, TN.Joseph II was the son of Joseph & Susannah Stringfield.I know that Elizabeth Whey is listed as John's mother, but do not find any trace of her.Also, third, do you have a copy of the article published in THE NEW YORK SUN TIMES?Will wait to hear from you.Faye Kipp Hixson
