Funeral services for Aude Ola Wallace, 90, of Theodosia, were held on Saturday, 24 July 1999, at 11 a.m. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville with Randy Dalton and Dennis Shumate officiating. Burial in Thornfield Cemetery. Wallace died Tuesday, 20 July 1999, at 10:10 a.m. at Gainesville Health Care Center. He was born 20 May 1909 in Hammond, son of David and Martha (Sallee) Wallace. On 2 March 1929 he was married at Chandler, OK., to Audy Hobbs.Wallace was a member of Longrun Community Church. He was a farmer and operated a sawmill for many years. Survivors include a son, Donald Hobbs, Isabella; a daughter, HildredKnight, and husband, Mose, Springfield; two grandchildren, Max Knight and wife, Janie, Purdy; and Shelly Wallace, Eureka Springs, AR; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Eva Jane Knight, Purdy; one sister, Lizzie Absher, Gainesville; one sister-in-law, Bessie Nieboer, Mountain Home, AR; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
