Its been a long time since you posted your message, I have been doing the Hobby/Hoby/hobbye/Hobbie/oby Family tree for about 35 years, the name of Hobby (as you know it now) has so many variations thruout the centuries it has changed so many times thru spelling errors, I have a lot of info on the Hobby/Hoby families I am willing to share. Yes, we are connected to the English royal family through marriage.
The Hobby/Hoby/Hobbie etc went to the US from England, we are related in some way.
