John, Agnes Hobkirk, born 1838 in Scotland, married my great,great grandfather William Donaldson and immigrated to the US shortly after their marriage and traveled directly to Illinois. They lived, raised a family, died and are buried in the small town of MAQUON, KNOX CO., ILLINOIS. Do you have more information on Agnes and her family? I have very little.
