The information I have is as follows:

children of George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison (dau. of Edward and Mary (Greenway) Kinnison) - William, b. 3-7-1739 (m. Sarah Williams): Stephen, b. 3-5-1742 (m. Ann Barnes; 2nd Mary Crew; 3rd Deborah (Marshall) Hinshaw); Charles, b. 5-14-1744 (m. Sarah Beck); George,(m. Hannah Beck); and Hannah; Edward; James; Silas; Thomas; Rebecca; Lydia.

There is a marker at the Rocky River Cemetery in memory of Geroge and Hannah Hobson as pioneers of Rocky River, placed by the Pioneer Alamance Society of North Carolina.Thre is also a Hobson dwelling (a Mill, I think) in this area that is still owned/resided in by a Hobson decendant.I have been told that their historical society has considerable information regarding the Hobsons.

I have some of the decendant lines from some of the above.My direct Hobson line (George, Stephen Sr; Stephen Jr; George, George II; Jesse; Thomas Jesse; Jesse Nelson (my father) settled in MO.
