Re: Wisconsin Hockett's How do we know if we are ALL from Philip and Mary?

I found part of a 23-page report entitled Hockett Family Descendant Report. I wonder if it might be the same one your father sent you ... Our family is descended from Nathan Hinshaw Hockett and Rebecca Mills. Their oldest daughter, Rachel, was my great-grandmother. The story of their trip on the Oregon Trail was written by Rachel's brother, William. The book is entitled, "Experiences of W.A. Hockett on the Orego Trail, 1847". A nice film was made from the book, "The Oregon Trail -- One Boy's Journey." I also just found out about Velma Hockett Bosworth who wrote several books on the Hockett lineage. I look forward to locating her work.
