To Marion (Larry) Lewis. I am delighted to see your posting of the Hocketts. I am one of the Oregon Trail Hocketts. Our immediate family is just now learning more about their trek across the country back in 1847. I have a copy of Will A's book which is quite informative. I realize our Midwest cousins must have more information than we do because we do not have letters and journals.
