My father was born 11/07/25 in St. Louis. His mother's name was "Catie" americanized. His father's name was Mile or Mille, pronounced "Meelay". My dad served in both WWII and the Korean War. After the war years, he completed college studies in accounting and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 30+ years. He passed away in March of this year. My mother survived him. She's primarily Italian. There's no IRISH in our family, so I never have figured out why I was named "Brian" and not Tony, or Anthony or Antonio or Nick or Joey or Vlado or something. What does this mean?: "Acco slepatz, vodi slepatz, o bode va chu, pastu yamu." Excuse spelling.
