Re: Samuel E. Hoge 1832 Pennsylvania

After receiving info from Bob Hoge, I am trying to go back to Samuel's father and his parentage.I found a John Hoge that died on Aug. 11, 1865 (71 years, 11 mo.) in California, MO. , Moniteau County.He is buried in the California Masonic Cemetary.Based on this info, I have found a John Hoge b. Sept. 6, 1793 in PA.The date pretty much matches John's age but am having trouble verifying if this is the same person.
