I also am tracking the Hogshead genelogy, and have collected over 400 pages of records. What I show is pretty much the same, being that John Hogshead came from Scotland and did marry Nancy Wallace. Together they had eight children, James, John, William, Mollie, David, Michael, Nancy, and Rebecca.
James as born in Penn, and died about Feb, 1782 in Augusta County VA, and apparently is buried in the Augusta Church Cmty. James married a Elizabeth Davis around 1743.together they had about 6 children.
John was born in Penn, and died about 1798, and apparently is buried in the Augusta Church Cmty.He married a lady with the last name of Poaque/Progue. They had one daughter. Then John remarried to a Rebecca Gorden/Gordon.Together they had 8 children from what I've received.
William was also born in Penn, and apparently is buried in the Augusta Church Cmty. Was never married.
Mollie was also born in Penn, and I have no vitals. She married a James Allen and together, they had 7 children. They apparently lived near the Augusta Church in Augusta County, VA.
David was also born in Penn, and apparently died around Nov, 1799, and apparently is buried in the Augusta Church Cmty. He married a Margaret Gilkerson/Gilkeson and they had about 8 children as well.He apparently was a Captain of "Dickey's Company" in the Revolutionary War.
Michael was also born in Penn, and died around April 20, 1818.He married a Martha/Mattie/Mollie Gorden/Gordon around Feb 19, 1759. Together, they had about 12 children. He apparently was a Captain of "Trible's Company" in the Revolutionary War.
Nancy was also born in Penn, and I have no vitals, other than she married a James Bell/Boll with no children listed.
Rebecca, also born in Penn, married a Isaac Carson on Nov 9, 1786 and lived near, then, Moscow, Augusta County, VA.
I have a pretty decent document of the continuation of the Hogshead genelogy, as I am about 9th generation of John Hogshead.
Hope some of this helps. If you have any other additional information and dates, please let me know.
