LIFE OF SYDNEY M. WALTON Born in Attica township August 4th, 1867.His youthful days were spent at home with his parents where he fulfilled every duty that could be expected of a true and faithful son. When 23 years of age on March 4th, 1891, he was united in marriage to Celia HOISINGTON.The new home was still located with the old one for two years. At the end of this time his family had been enlarged by the birth of one son.He then moved one-half mile west on the same farm. Here he made his permanent home on the spot where his father and mother first mad their home.To this home was born another son and three daughters. Some six or eight years ago his health began to gradually decline until finally last December he felt as though he ought to go west in hope of regaining it again but failed. He kept up courage and faith of recovery until the last hour which came late Sunday afternoon, May 17th, 1914.This untimely hour which broke in upon him at the middle age of 46 years, 9 months and 13 days, required him to leave behind the mother and five children, Clarence, Clayton, Edith, Joyce and Margaret; also one brother and two sisters, William Walton, Mrs John Sweet and Mrs Will Powers. CARDS OF THANKS -- We wish to thank our friends and neighbors for their flowers and kindness during our sad bereavement; also the ministers and choir.Mrs Sidney M Walton and sons, Clarence and Clayton.
