I find a Hester Holder in Lamar County MS in the 1930 census. She is age 48 a widow, first married at age 13 with son Hershel 24, son R.T 16, son J.C. 14, daughter Hester M 9, daughter Anne R 4 and son Von 7. Race Black

In 1910 census the family is in Jasper County MS with head of household as George Holder age 39 married twice, wife Hester 38 also married twice, then has 0 (zero) years married. Hester listed she had 10 children/10 living. There are 3 children with surname Holder that are not born to Hester then 10 children with surname Hardy, all born to Hester. You can see the census is the search results in the webpage above to get children names. Also the son Hershell Holder in 1930 was born with the surname Hardy if 1910 census is correct as it should be, all the Hardy children are listed as Step-children to head of household George Holder. Race is Black.

The children listed after Hershell in 1930 census are born to Hester with husband George Holder.

So Holder is Hester's 2nd married name, Hardy her first married name, her maiden name unknown.
