William & George Holding - England 1877

Hi

My name is Alexis Holding and I am trying to trace the following ancestors -

George Alfred Holding, born abt 1877 who married Grace Ethel Jones in St Pancras,London in 1905/6. They had a number of children (in order of birth)-

Lesley 1909
George 1911
Frederick A 1913 - My Grandfather
Arthur & William 1915 (Twins)
Eric 1917
Tony 1919
Grace 1921
'Queenie' 1923

I cannot seem to find any information as to George Alfred's birth. I believe that he may have served and survived the First World War with the Yorks & Lancs Regiment. I do know, however, that his father was William Holding, who was a sailor and had unfortunately died before Georges Marriage in 1905/6 (this is all according to Georges Marriage Certificate). I have no further information on William at all.
