Holding/Holden >Sutton, Lancs England

My Holden's went as Holding's also...some records have Holden some have Holding on them
it seems that the spelling was interchangable when it was written down...mine start with a William Holding/Holden br Sutton 1806 m Mary Whittle br 1811...children Wm 2 br 1827..Joseph br 1831 m Ann Smythe[have their children] Thomas br 1835...James br 1838 m Mary Garvey[have their children] Catherine br 1840
m Wm Gee[no children found] Mary br 1845 m Wm Lowe [have their children] Sarah Ellen br 1848m George Stringer m 2 Massingale...William 3 br 1851....most are buried in St Helens Cem..as either Holden or Holding....please reply to mailto:[email protected] you
