Hi... I've been working on the Haldren/Holdren families in Virginia recently and I might be able to help.

She's listed as Lorissa in 1860, but she's listed as "Tyrussa HALDERN" in 1870.She's still living with George Reed's family in Plymouth Twp., Mercer Co., WV.She's 26, listed as a servant and has two daughters, Margaret A. 3 and Katy 1.

I believe she's the daughter of Henry Haldren and Mahala Thompson.In 1850, Henry & Mahala were in Mercer County.He was 39, she was 32, and they had nine children: George W. 13, Ballad P. (Ballard Preston) 12, Sarah E. 10, Tirussa D. 8, Martha A. 6, Andrew J. 4, James H. 3, Mahala 2, Allen 10 mo. (Allen was actually Ellen).

I believe Henry was born in Bedford Co., VA, and was the son of Cornelius & Sally Haldren.
