JEREMIAH1 HOLDREN was born Dec 1859 in Pennsylvania.He married MARTHA 1884 in Pennsylvania.She was born Nov 1865 in Pennsylvania.

In the 1900 U. S. Federal Census, Jeremiah Holdren is listed as Jeremie Haldren, 40.His wife Martha, is listed as Wartha, 34.They are living in Penn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania with their three children (Chula Z, 11; Raymond E., 2; and Artie L., 9/12).The census also shows the Martha gave birth to a total of five childre, three of which are still living.

The 1910 U. S. Federal Census, finds Jeremiah and Martha Holdren living in Moreland Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.They are listed as Jerry Holdern, 51, and Marha Holdern, 44.If indicated that they had been married for 25 years at the time of this census. By this time Martha has had 7 children, five are still living.The children living with them at this time are R. Earl, 12; Artie L, 10; Ruth E., 7; and Williard J., 5.Jeremiah is employeed at the sawmill.All members of this family were born in Pennsylvania.

In the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Jerry, 60, and Martha, 53, Holdren are living on North Market St., Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.Two of their children are living with them (Ruth E., 17 and Jason W., 14).Jerry is a laborour at Keystone Paint Co.; Ruth is a winder at the silk mill and Jason in a helper at the woolin mill.

In the 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Jerry, 70, and Martha, 64, were living in Muncy Creek, Lycoming County, Pennslyvania.Their daughter Ruth, 27, is living with them.Jerry is a laborer of odd jobs and Ruth is a braider of silk.The census indicates that Jerry was 26 and Martha was 21 at the time of thier marriage.
