Yes, my wife is from this line - all descendants of a William Holdway from Ashmansworth in Hampshire who moved to Whiston in North Staffs.We have most of the family tree worked out, but a fire at Ashmansworth destroyed all the parish records in 1811 so we can't trace anything definite earlier than that.The family were in that village though in the 14th century.Where do you fit in?If you can give me your father and preferably grandfather's name I can tell you more.
