I can trace my family tree back to Thomas b. 1857 in Whiston (kingsley staffs which is not far from where I live now. From Thomas I go to William Henry Holdway and then to my own grandfather Frank Holdway.
I am also fairly sure that his father was william Holdway b. 1828 in Ashmansworth Hampshire who also lived whiston. From there I can't at the moment get back any further.
