Alfred Holdway was born in Andover Hampshire England in 1868-1872? He migrated from England to Australia.
Parents, Jessie Holdway, and Annie Banks/Kent?
He settled in Charters Towers Queensland and married in 1893 to Sarah O'Donnell. Sarah was born in Dungloe, Donegal Ireland in 1874? and migrated to Australia in 1890. parents, Kate McGee and John O'Donnell.
They had 5 children, only 2 survived. John Alfred and Catherine.
Alfred remarried in 1906 in Brisbane,to Louisa Phillipina Copp.They had 6 more children.
