Owen Thomas Holladay (Virginia to Georgia)

Hello,

I am working on DAR membership for my daughter.My father is William Clay, his father Owen Clay, his father James W., his father Owen Francis Marion Holliday(born Georgia, died Newton Cty, Miss.)I have clues that his father was Owen Thomas Holladay(born in Virginia, moved to Georgia), son of John Holladay(died at Gates Defeat in Am. Rev.).Would appreciate any evidence that might provide proof that O. F. M. was son of Owen Thomas?This is the area I am having the most trouble documenting and I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have or any reference you may have to any one you think might me able to help me.Thanks in advance for any advice offered.
