Court:1783- Duplin Co., NC.October Court, 1783.Deed Book 8, page 59.Dated 3 September 1783.Deed from Stephen Hollingsworth to Wynne Nance.Transaction: £30 specia for 150 acres."Being part of Henry Hollingsworth (an error and should have read Henry McCulloh) tract of land containing 71,160 acres of land upon the Branches of the North East Branches of Cape Fear River and also upon the Branches of Black River as will more fully appear by a deed in the Registers office from the Honorable Henry McCulloh to Zebulon Hollingsworth deceased bearing date 6 October 1769 and beginning on the head of Gavins Branch".Witness were Henry Hollingsworth and Daniel Nance.Registered on 1 October 1783.
Court:1791- Sampson Co., NC.Deed Book 8, page 476.Wynne Nance to Joseph T. Roads (of DuplinCounty).Dated 11 February 1791.Transaction:£125 specia for 150 acres "on the head of Gavins Branch beginning... near the branch".Land was "Conveyed by Henry McCulloh to Zebulon Hollingsworth and at his decease heired by his son Stephen Hollingsworth and by him conveyed to Wynne Nance".Witness:Will Vann and Curtis Ivey.
