Re: Henry Hollingsworth
I hope that you will share your sources for the information you have on Henry's family with me.
For example, the only Valentine Hollingsworth I am aware of who is the right age to be the father of Henry of Valentine lived in Lincoln and died childless.
Also, if I am not mistaken, in 1598, Ballyvickcrannell was still part of the estates of the Roman Catholic O'Neill family. I am not aware of any Roman Catholic Hollingsworths of that era, and think it is more likely that Henry came to Ireland after 1710 when the Ulster Plantation was well under way.
Henry's wife was named Katheran, and it could well be that her maiden name was Cornish, but I have never seen proof of that and would be interested in knowing what documentation exists for that claim.
Finally, I am unfamiliar with any other children of Henry and Katheran, and speculate that Henry died while Valentine was young. The late Harry Hollingsworth speculated that Henry died in the uprising of 1641, and that seems like a good possibility.
The Valentine Hollingsworth Society hired an Irish researcher to check the 17th century Irish records, and came up with no Stephens or Zebulons, so I would be interested in knowing where you found them.
