Looking for information about Robert HOOD, b. 1786 in Mecklenburg County, NC, m. jenny McCAIN, also of Mecklenburg County, NC. Know they were in TEXAS, but dates unknown. Only other data is this NOTE
Jenny who married Robert HOOD and moved to Texas where she died of cholera not many days after landing at Harrisbury.
Nearly all her family are in Texas. Believe Robert HOOD was son of Rueben HOOD and Jane IRVIN. Looking to capture this family extension of McCAIN line.
