Re: Vina Hood md Hugh A Quinn St Clair Co, AL1820

Her full name was Lavina. Their marriage bond says Hugh Quinn & Levina Hood. Sureties were Robert Hood, Aaron Castleberry, Sally Cunningham. Nothing on her parentage had been found conclusively, but I believe she was possibly a daughter of John Hood, who was in GA from the 1780s until at least 1809 (he was on a Jackson Co. GA tax list that year) and in Monroe Co. AL in 1816 (back when it was still Mississippi Territory). In 1820 and 1830 he was in St. Clair Co. AL, but I lose track of him after that.
