Seek descendant of William HOOD, dau. Lucy 1872-1942 m. Chalres HUGHES NY =Sarah
I have a photo of Frank R. HUGHES taken about 1940 with his brother, Charles S. HUGHES, 1872-1944 m. Lucy HOOD which I'm willing to share.
Were they two different Frank HUGHES living in the same area about the same time?
Frank R. HUGHES 1866-1959 [youngest of 5 living children] is listed on my family tree site:
The Crosier Hughes Family

This information was given to me;
Frank was the brother of my maternal great grandfather, Edwin HUGHES, 1860-1932.
Frank HUGHES is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Trenton, NY, but not with his wife.
It was Jim who wrote that Frank HUGHES adopted 1 daugher, Alma HORN, of Blanche HORN and for a time lived in Chicago, Illinois. I do not have proof.Do you?
My maternal uncle, Orval HUGHES [now deceased] visited his Uncle Frank & Aunt Blanche in August 1951 in the Chicago area for the first time.Uncle Frank took him to a pool hall.
His occupations were bookkeeper, did office work for Harvesting Machine Co., and manager of International Harvester.
Frank HUGHES children were supposedly born in Syracuse, New York.
