I am sure, you are aware, that Tom Horn had a brother and sister. After Tom's hanging, his brother stated, "they hanged the wrong cowboy"!. Some looking upon that, as a denial of relationship. I look upon it, as a matter of fact statement, that Tom Horn was in fact innocent of the crime, for which he hanged.Tom's sister, "claimed" his body, and had him buried in Golden, Colorado.Tom Horn, was in fact a 'scapegoat', for the cattlemen of Wyoming and of Joe LeFors.Tom's only real support, was from John Coble.A cattleman, yet true and fair.Young Willie Knickels, was killed, by a neighboring "small-time" cattle rancher. He "copied" Horn's "ways" and set Tom up.This was brought out, in a "later" trial, held in Cheyenne, Wyoming.Tom Horn, did a great deal, to "settle" the West.He was caught-up in a "new era".Glendoline Kimmel, testified, at Horn's trial and was considered "prejudiced", in her statements.Tom Horn, was an honest man, and beyond reproach. He was truly, a "victim".
