I ran across your request for information on the Horne family in Alabama. You stated you are a grandson of Van Vert Horn son of Jesse Horn. I also am a gggrand daughter of Jesse and Mary Duke Horn through their son Nathan and Elizabeth Hunsucker Horne.I am confused about your grandfather,Van Vert. My Jesse did not have a son named Van Vert but his son{my ggrandfth,Nathan} did.And that Van Vert also had a granson Van Vert. Can that be your grandfather? I really beleive we are from the same line but maybe I'm off the line just a bit. Will you help me get straightened out and I would love to exchange information with you.
