Lin, I got out my copy of Hannah's Bible flyleaf. It says "half blood Cherokee, half blood Osage" which could mean nearly anything? I suspect it means her mother (who we THINK was
Mollie Running Wolf Sequoyah) was 1/2 Osage and 1/2 Cherokee.
