Issaz6@cs.com postings HOUSE St FrancisCo AR

A person identified only as Issaz6@cs.com posted in 2000 and 2001 about a St Francis / Wheatley township family of George HOUSE, with sister named Mattie HOUSE.This is definitely, most definitely, my family line, related to ANDERS who also were in Wheatley.

Parthenia ANDREWS / ANDERS b 1835 GA married 1851 GA to George M. HOUSE and 1855-56 they came to St Francis / Monroe Co AR with Parthenia's extended family of her parents, Michael L. ANDREWS and wife Parthenia Pullin.

I know only that George and Parthenia had 2 daughters ...Martha C ..not E ..Martha Caroline HOUSE, called Mattie, b about 1856 St Francis or Monroe Co, and also Juliann /Julia Ann Caledonia HOUSE b 1854 GA before they left GA. She was called CAllie / or Cally. Her sisterMattie / Martha HOUSE married Wm. D PUGH in AR, and Cally married #1 to BROMBLEY / BRUMBLY and #1 to ALLMAN.

I was unaware that George M. HOUSE and Parthenia had any sons, but he could well have had a son born between 1860 and 1870 census. He died after 1862 and before 1870, and in 1870 CAlly HOUSE was not living in her mother's household of new spouse E. HOLLEMAN and Parthenia ..but was living with Parthenia's brother Charles/ Charley ANDREWS / ANDERS. I'm sure she was helping out Charles who was single. The Civil War made a mess of the South and families were living and managing the best way they could ...so it is entirely possible that George's son was living in another household, farming out so to speak as labor or going to school living with another relative.

Hope somebody can help me contact the person with this line ...which also mentions a Samuel HOUSE in the original posting by Isaaz6@cs.com
