My records show Ransom HOUSE married Edeline ZUMWALT on 14 Sept. 1837 in Houston, Harris Co., Tx. Sarah HOUSE (I believe her sister)married Napoleon Lado, 2 July 1840, my great great grandparents. I was able to get a copy of their marriage license at the courthous in Houston. It has REPUBLIC OF TEXAS, across the top of the marriage license. With this I became a member of DRT.
