The probate papers associated with the will of conrad H. House who died in Springfield, Otsego County, NY on 12/29/1842 mentions a son, Henry House who lived in New Stockbridge, Oneida County, NY.

the will was drawn on 5/30/1842 and went to probate on 2/21/1843.

The will also mentions:
widow - Margaret
dau - Betsy House
dau - Mary House
dau - Lorraine House
dau - Peggy Ann House - a minor child
Henry, as above
dau - Eve Armstrong, wife of Lee Armstrong of Stark, Herkimer County, NY
Conrad House

I don't know if this Henry connects with you or not, but it is possible - the House family in the Mohawk Valley was very large.
