Have you made any progress on your family?I saw this only post and wondered where in Germany your Phillip came from and where in Ohio he was?I have a Phillip from Baden who went to Ohio, (clermont county) probably just prior to 1850.I did not understand from your post when you listed immigration as 1877 how his kids were born in Ohio before then?Maybe I misread something.Let me know if you're researching in the Ohio area at all.
