Hi,
My Matthew Houseman was born approx 1822 (calulated from censuses). I havent been able to find a parish record of his birth though so I havent got any details of his mother or father. His place of birth was Brompton by Sawdon near Scarborough. Jane King was born in 1824 in Old Malton again calculated from censuses. I have a probable IGI record of Jane's baptism in 1824 (14 nov)again in old malton. This gives her parents as Robert King and Elizabeth although I havent yet found any further details on them.
Matthew and Jane were my ggg Grandparents. I am descended from their second daughter Elizabeth who married a Jonathon Walker in 1869.
I would be very interested if you have any further details especially of Matthew's parents as I have struggled to trace him further back. I have a lot of detail of Matthew and Janes appearances in censuses and their family if this is of interest.
Let me know if our Matthews tie up and also what info you would like.
Regards
Paul Moore
