L.T. Hoy, Woodstock, Ill., 1902
St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, May 23, 1902. L.T. Hoy of Woodstock is being favorable mentioned for chairman of the republican state central committee, on which he has served two terms as a member of this district. In the campaign of 1900 he filled an especially important place on the committee and made a splendid record thereon. If chosen chairman he will likewise reflect credit on his district and the republican party, of which he is a leader in Northern Illinois. His selection as chairman, for which he is well qualified, would be gratifying to his numorous friends throughout the state.
