I took a trip back to Durham (Oyster River) and Barrington (Bow Lake), New Hampshire, this spring where I found the many of the places that were important to my Huckins heritage.Still living on land acquired shortly after the American Revolution are two Huckins families descended from Captain John Huckins (1704-1789).One of them told me that Abby Huckins, wife of Bill in Salt Lake City, had recently passed away, and that Bill was not in very good health himself.Having not heard from Bill in probably 15 years, I cannot verify the information, but I have been unable to contact him through email.However, Bill, if you're still out there and doing genealogy on the internet, I would love to hear from you as well!
