hello Mary, I am Valerie wife of Harry Laxton his Dad was sister to Elizabeth Huckins. I am following up your message which was forwarded to me by my daughter-in-law as she is unable to do it as it went through to my son Clifford`s message board, who I`m sad to say suddenly diedlast September aged only 50, following a heart attack . I waspleased to receive your message and will be happy to be in contact with you. Harry senior never spoke much about his family although we were given to believe John and Thomas Laxton his brothers were lost in the first world war, but cannot find any proof of this, we found out that there was a sister named Florence in 1874 but died about 1884 aged about 11years we believe that the father Thomas born about 1847 also died in that year so we wondered if they died from the same complaint we think that there was a outbreak of influenza about that time. look forward to hearing from you regards Val
